Hadrian's Gate is one of the best-preserved historical structures in Antalya. This Roman monument was built in 130 AD in honor of Roman Emperor Hadrian. Over time, the city's walls covered the outer part of the gate, and it remained unused for many years. This may be one of the reasons it has survived intact to this day. After the city walls were demolished, the gate was revealed once again. Considered the most beautiful gate in Pamphylia, Hadrian's Gate features three arched openings with domes at the top. Except for the columns, the structure is made entirely of white marble, and its carvings and reliefs are exquisite.
