HUMAN RIGHTS AND EMPLOYEE RIGHTS POLICY
Kahya Hotels, which has gained a respected and reliable position with its activities and performance, aims to create a work environment that respects human rights within the framework of sustainable tourism and to spread this awareness to increase the consciousness and awareness of its employees, customers, and stakeholders.
Kahya Hotel makes its best efforts to fulfill the requirements of the Labor Law, as well as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights of the United Nations, the fundamental principles of the International Labor Organization, and the international conventions to which Turkey is a party.
Kahya Hotel personnel are obliged to conduct their relationships with each other and with guests with respect for human rights and the ethical principles of Kahya Resort Aqua & Spa; without discrimination based on language, religion, race, gender, philosophical belief, or sect, and in accordance with the principles of honesty, trust, impartiality, and transparency. They are also responsible for refraining from behaviors that may be perceived as mistreatment and for maintaining the work environment without disruption.
Hotel management is obliged to take the necessary measures to prevent mistreatment, discrimination, or harassment, and to report any suspicious situations to the Human Resources department. Such complaints are not used against the complainant, and the situation is seriously evaluated and resolved.
If management determines the existence of discrimination or harassment, it is responsible for applying the necessary administrative sanctions against the responsible individuals
Kahya Hotel avoids all practices that may lead to unfair competition in personnel employment. While there is freedom of contract and movement in employment in accordance with the Labor Law and relevant legislation, care is taken to ensure that personnel recruitment is in line with operational needs.
In line with its Human Rights Policy, Kahya Hotel does not finance projects of persons or organizations found to engage in activities prohibited or restricted by national legislation or international conventions, or that employ child labor or engage in human rights violations.
Kahya Hotel personnel work under the provisions of private law and are employed in accordance with the provisions of Labor Law No. 4857. Our company respects the constitutional right to unionization and collective bargaining. Necessary measures are taken within the framework of legal regulations regarding occupational health and safety, and employees are provided with training on these matters every year.
The working conditions, personal rights, and requests or complaints of our employees are conveyed and followed up with the employer through the Human Resources department. Kahya Hotel does not discriminate in the provision of services or the recruitment and promotion process, aside from competency criteria.
Kahya Hotel opposes forced and compulsory labor and expects this approach from its customers in line with its human rights declarations and various policies.
